- As veterinarian and horsewoman, I enjoy life in the Foothills of Northern California. I 'owned' my first horse at the tender age of eight and have had assorted horses since. Currently, I share my space with five horses and two mules, ranging in age from five years to twenty-plus. I partner with my husband Jerry, an accomplished horseman and mule packer.
